merry christmas.

 i hope everyone has had a nice, peaceful day celebrating Jesus' birthday with family and friends. yay for a break from everything!.

little chest of drawers.

finally!. my mom and i finished this little dresser! my mom painted it grey and switched the knobs. and then i painted the tree. it turned out pretty well if you ask me!.

and another party.

a couple nights ago was the second christmas party of year. this one, two of my friends and i hosted. i baked. and baked. and baked. soooo much for it. it was fun though. :).

  then when i got to heather's we tried to make a lederhosen man...

he was cute at first....

but then...we put him in the over too long. :/. 

and he was still cute...just fat and rock hard.

then it was on to the main course, eggplant lasagna. sooo good.

oh! and these were labels i made for everything. :).

i try to be lovely. :).

then here are some of the things i baked. i love baking.

the cupcakes were by far my favorite....anything chocolate mint is my favorite.

and this one definitely isn't a dessert. but of course we just had to have sweet potato fries. :).

so even though some people couldn't come because it had snowed that day the party was super fun and i'm glad it was able to happen at all.

a new little town.

so this year. i decided to make all of my friends little bird houses for Christmas. they turned out a lot cuter than i thought they would..which is good. :).

today.

is a snowy day of rest and tea drinking.

so stoked. thanks God for today.

last night was the first christmas party of the year that i attended. :). it was awesome. i kinda helped set up...i say kinda because mostly i just took pictures and talked to my friend tess. haha. anyways. here are some photos.

wonderful day!.

finally i'm on Christmas break! and it started off today just perfectly! :). i spent most of the day with my good friend lindsay. we went and got lunch and then just walked around carytown. so fun. also! we stopped by a new little cupcake shop in carytown.

it had it's pros and cons but the place was super cute!.

i love lin. :).and then i started on a little a project to be finished later. :).

busy. busy. busy!.

that's all i've been recently...busy. with gcn and exam life is just crazy!....and stressful. however! there has been some good business seeing as my birthday was recently. :). here's a few photos of going out to to eat for my birthday and then my actual birthday....and well one is just me being random and bored before going out to eat. :P.

blueberry!.

so, the other day i was at the store and i accidently got almond extract instead of vanilla. i have no idea what to do with almond extract. so today  i made up a random little blueberry cookie recipe and used it. so good!.
